there is a light -2010- at the end of every tunnel -2009- 9:57 AM
this is one of those times,
i do this yearly entry on how the year had past.
so here it goes,
With regards to studies, 2009 was much tougher, and i dont think i have done my ultimate best yet. i really really hope to put in more effort for 2010, coz afterall i made promises (:
With regards to mentoring and yearbook 2009 threw in a lot of difficulties. so much crap happened, but nevertheless, the bonds forged were worth every shit, that was thrown at us :)
With regards to school life, it has been so much more happening, i encountered SO many things, that has never happened to me before, i did so many things i never did before. i cried, i laughed, i had my Yearly BIG FALL :Dand i (: for 2010, i only pray it would get better.
With regards to my friends, i made SO MANY NEW FRIENDS, never forgetting the old ones, each and everyone seem, precious and worth cherishing. and i intend to keep them close, for the new year as well :D
and lastly with regards to my family. sigh where do i even begin...
2009 was a very much tough year. i never remembered crying this much in my life ever before than i did in this year. never ending problems, bonds tearing apart, everywhere SOMEONEhas to cock up some shit. but then again, i wanna thank god, for guiding us through, and keep all of us together.
cause afterall we are family, and no one can break us a apart, and no one can change our bond.
i only wanna hope and pray that problems will be solved, And everyone will be back together again, for the year to come.
again i would like to mention, blood is thicker than water, and relation ties are important.
For 2010, i pray that, god will protect my family, my extended family, my friends, my enemies, his people, his religion, and his creations :)
i will make sure i will conquer every crap 2010 throws at me.
thursday night - friday morning,
had only like three hrs of sleep,
woke up, got ready, and it started pouring heavily.
carried my bagpack :)
and all of us were on the
taxi to the bus place
at beach road.
super excited i was feeling.
coz i have never taken a bus out of singapore. :D
yes i know even a small thing
like this can make me :)
then we travelled.
travelled to a close of 8 hrs.
and did i mention,
the bus even broke down in the middle,
before it took of the winding road.
and we were an hr delayed,
waiting for a replacement bus.
but nevertheless,
none of our moods were dampened.
and we checked in @ FIRST WORLD hotel.
the amount of people there,
waiting to check in was like *faints*
SO MANY. need to take queue number somemore-.-
so we went to eat instead.
after dinner we checked in,
got our rooms,
and sister was my roommate.
FIRST time one hotel room to ourselves(:
i am so glad i shared it with u.
though it wasnt anything big or,
we din have any long talk sessions,
just waking u up,
clearing the toilet for you,
telling u to stop being a gundu and go to sleep,
and taking pictures with you
was FUN :D
and then freshened up,
and we left to become tourists.
randomly snapping piccas.
walked around,
pigged out.
shopped not so much.
DAY 2 was CRAZY.
woke up super early,
And got ready by 8am,
had breakfast,
first world hotel seriously
has a HUGE range of food to offer.
really INTERNATIONAL.
indian,western,malay, chinese. ALOT.
and then off we went to the theme park,
at around 10 plus. :D
photos for viewing below.
being there was just
so outta the world kind.
i was so excited,
just looking at everything there.
but the bad thing abt going in such a big group was
that we had to do everything together,
some could do this,
some didnt wanted to do this.
so give and take eh.
i wanna go there again
next time :D
preferably with only ONE companion.
or just a few crowd.
BUT doing it as a group was also DAMN FUN.
cutting queue like nobody's business.
Jumping and climbing through railings,
to get ahead in the queue when it rained,
and people infront leave.
IT WAS SOOOOO FUN :D
thinking abt it even now give me SO much SMILES.
but the big rides were however closed :(
i badly wanted to ride the BIG rollercoaster,
and the flying thingy.NOT FAIR.
i also ate alot of corn when
i was there,
CAUSE the weather was FREAKING COLD.
it rained when it felt like raining,
and i practically would have freeze to death,
if i didnt cared for myself.
and then after the whole thing,
we went back,
just to change,
and then MORE looking around.
first world shopping center,
has alot of versions of statues,
like the statue of liberty,
this huge Oscar trophy man,
Petronas Twin Towers.
walked around till 1130,
with elder sis and younger sis ONLY.
we slipped away from the group somehow;)
and lalala,
it was last day already.
And time to go back.
although,
i felt the trip was over a little too soon,
i couldnt wait to be back in SINGAPORE.
i missed my LAPTOP :D
and when we reached singapore,
cousin sis came up with this CRAZY idea,
to go watch movie.
and since everyone,
STILL hadnt gotten over from our night life from genting.
we went for a 9pm show after
freshening up at our homes.
CRAZY or what.
oh, and it was a tamil movie.
and FAINTS.
people there whistle
like nobody's business,
and since it was a whole theatre,
sound system was like CRAP.
and my eardrums almost BURST.
Pictorial Version of Genting :D
cute or what?
see i am with spongebob,
protecting patrick BEHIND me.
muahahahaha :)
white and red headphones (:
Mother.
there were at least 6 car crashes that we saw.
the roads keep winding and winding,
and the cars keep flowing and flowing.
kuku raihana and me :)
somehow the colours blend damn well.
prototype (:
the artist there; fuuyo!
Bowling @ Genting
Raihana trying to make it.
somehow i seem annoyed. Why ah?
when i was leading....
however games ended with Raihana winning,
beating me by ONLY 2 points -.-
Viking.
I even dared to take out my HP to snap this pic.
Style :)
we waited in the rain for 2.5 hrs for our turn to get SPACE SHOT.
definitely worth the wait,
beating the rain,
fighting the cold.
we survived through well enough,
and had the ride of our life for 30-45 seconds.
insanely AWESOME adrenaline rush.
i felt it. i felt my heart drop.
and it made me SMILE like a fool,
cause i felt myself, hanging for my life,
for the first time.
I SO DAMN LOVE THE feeling of up there,
BEING SO DAMN HIGH UP.i remembered counting from 1-10,when the thing stopped @ the top.
and when it dropped,
i realised i was such a sucker for high elements.
anyone wanna bring me go BUNGEE JUMP?
another cool crap that i did :D
check out irfana's face.
like her heart's gonna come out from her mouth!
Irfana and Me!
My cutest Youngest sister.
cousin Nawshein.
NOT the clown eh.
Sister Afroza.
i did a jumpshot @ Genting with my sis.
cool or what ?
rain or sun, we dont care.
all we wanted to do was to play.
the london phone booths alike,
were very pretty
i like :D
check out the crowd going in and out of the theme park.
love this shot of mom.
even though i know she cant really play archery well.
sister @ STARBUCKS @ 11.30pm
i even ate ICE cream there in the COLD :D
how was we forget a Christmas Tree?
The Statue of Liberty chopped off.
Too tall to capture EVERYTHING.
monkey me. monkey u.
too much bananas before the trip i guess :D
Impossible is Nothing.
Sister (L

thursday,
was a LONG day.
went over to orchard to celebrate ayisha's birthday. unfortunately, SOME people couldnt stop smiling and she somehow guessed it :(
but nevertheless i had fun, with the whole thing, trying to surprise her, and singing happy birthday damn loudly,
and and and, just hanging out with the whole bunch.
ayisha, happy... :)
we also happy :D
nisa looks like she trying to hijack the gifts!
me stealing cake. and look, nandhini so :)
Sotong Ayisha :)
Shamini dont whack me kay.
the card we wrote on :) very nice of u read it :D AYISHA, BE TOUCHED OKAY!
i think the cake is so damn nice. small, but very sincere, right from the heart. baked by sameera and nasreen, eaten by SO MANY. nice :)
oh oh oh, i bought the candles with the 'happy birthday' i know its NICE :D
told you there was a whole lot of us, singing for her damn loudly, on a CHRISTMAS EVE. imagine the crowd :) oh wells, all eyes on AYISHA
and then everyone when to watch Alvin & the Chipmunks 2. and the stingy me, who is saving like crap so much, decided to be a loner, And not go for the movie.
so i pretty much was out on my own, for the one and half hrs.
Strolled around fareast, and then went to wheelock, to read books.
i seriously wanna go turkey man. damn pretty:) and also these damn gorgeous SUNFLOWERS.
man, i LOVE sunflowers. random i know :D
and then after the movie, i caught up with them, and then we walked around.
and separated our ways,
and nisa kept me company, Till my family came at 7,
coz they wanted to see LIGHTS. *faints*
but the experience of walking through Orchard at 8pm, wasnt too bad, with around 11 of us. just that when we took photos, everyone stared at us, coz the group too big :D nevertheless i had fun.
but walking through human traffic is undeniably crappy.
Imagine trying this at new years' eve. i will faint first i think.
Wednesday i went for a Christmas Charity event for mentoring. volunteering to deliver, food to aged people at their households, and conduct a survey on their life.
and i tell you, i have come to realise that many people DONT take care of their parents well enough.
i think its unfair and very ungrateful, of children not doing their part, in looking after their parents.
i went to one house, and the woman was talking to me, like as though they were on the verge of giving up on life.
they can have 4,5 children, and only ONE bother looking after them is like totally WHAT THE HELL for me.
i dont think its right at all.
and in one the houses i went, the one looking after them, is the son who is actually a stroke patient himself. so admirable i tell u.
and then another one, his wife just passed away weeks ago. and he was talking to me with bloodshot eyes. he now lives alone with a maid taking care of him, and one son out of FIVE children, funding him.
i feel so sad, hearing all of them.
and i can only hope and pray that everything goes well for my parents, because i would never want them, to feel abandoned ever.

yeap. GENTING.
the last time i went, i was in my mom's WOMB. lol, and my mum even explained, that was why i was fair as a baby, and then went on to say, but u chose to rot under the sun instead in my adolescent years. HAHA.
yes i am EXCITED.
next time i wanna take PLANE. and i just dont want to go malaysia, or like a place i have already been to. Hmph.
again, i remind myself, to be thankful and grateful for what i have.
that girl called over alot of us, to just hangout and give us lunch, for her birthday? or whatever the reason is. surely there was FUN :D
oh and did i mention, residing at toapayoh is pretty awesome, because you can practically find everything there very nearby.
but then again, ntg beats, staying here where i LIVE :):)
Tuesday, had mentoring meeting. and it was just SEVEN of us. my,mel, stella, wynne,yl,xt and me. pretty sad about the size, because from SC to MC, there was 24 to 16. nevermind.
and then i pretty much sinned today, cause firstly i took free food from some buffet.
maybe i should be happy, cause i saved money :D
oh but the mushroom and vegetables and the tofu damn nice lah
oh and the meeting was FUN.
and then FINALLY ON WEDNESDAY, i was at home. AND practically did nothing.
i choose to be at home, because i missed being home.
and and and.
i felt deadly guilty. and thanks nisa, for that stupid theme line, that made me smile :)
and for reasoning out with me, to not feel so guilty, although it didnt really help -.-
